Reading and Phonics Support
Each child has had an individual reading book and reading record sent home this week. Reading books must be read each night and a signature in your child’s reading log is required to show that you have listened to your child read. Reading records are checked in class each morning and any child that completes their reading record will be rewarded with an opportunity to attend Starbooks Café at the end of each half term. Book bags must be brought into school each day to ensure that your child can also practice their book with their teacher.

Home Learning
Homework will be given out every Friday and expected to be returned the following Thursday. There will be an English and Maths based activity each week. Completing homework is compulsory and an integral part of your child's learning journey. Completion of homework will be closely monitored throughout the year.
